What impressed me further was Cara and Michaels consideration to where we’d shoot their engagement photography. They both thought revisiting where they got engaged would be suitable special and romantic.
Michael popped the question when they were both out walking Bella, they regularly do this at their local Whitley Bay beach, specifically, by The Links. Here are some of the shots we got on the day.
Cara & Michael Loved the photography from this so much, they had me make up a fully customised Guestbook to use on the day of their wedding. I can’t wait to see it filled with all of the guests messages.
So as the big day approached, I first headed to see groom Michael & his pals at a small, and lovely Bed and Breakfast – Taste & See. Unusually, the boys were all ready to go, and impressively organised.
I then pressed on to Linden Hall to meet Cara and the rest of her party preparing.
One of Cara’s Bridesmaids is actually a Wedding Planner, she had all of the girls in perfect order so everyone could focus on the fun excitement of it all. In no time at all Cara was ready to start getting on her dress, and it was undoubtedly perfect for her. Aptly named “The Grace Kelly Dress”, Cara transformed into every bit the vintage star.
With just a few minutes more left before the big entrance, I had time to catch these lovely pictures of Cara’s parents
100% Giddy Excitement prevailed, before everyone took a final deep breath and headed out to get married.
The Big Entrance & Ceremony….
Bella was of course present at the wedding, and we all chuckled at her joining in with barks during the ceremony. However Bella did remain quiet at one crucial part, the section of the ceremony where the celebrant asks if anyone knows of any lawful impediment. I think its fair to say she is 100% on board with the marriage, and this can only be a wonderful sign of luck!
And these next few shots show all that detailed planning really did pay off to have a truly splendid overall effect.
Cara’s Gorgeous Thistley Bouquet..
Cara & Michael had arranged for Surprise Waiters to serenade the guests during the latter part of their meal. By the end of their set, all guests were dancing around and joining in, it was a wonderful moment. I can’t wait to surprise Cara & Michael with the video clips I caught of this.
With Dinner complete, and the couple taking a short break before some serious partying ensued, I ducked out. I cannot wait to show the couple the rest of their work, and begin designing an album or book to match all of the detail of their beautiful wedding day.
